We’ve been Grazing

Sorry for the slow posting as of late.   I think I am finally coming in from “grazing”… maybe that was a poor choice of titles for this post, because I certainly don’t feel like I have been grazing…more like I have been running non stop like a work-horse llama.

We’ve been settling in,
               unpacking and
finding a place for every little thing.

We have have been learning this city, getting lost, and becoming experts on parallel parking a van.   You don’t have to take my word for it, but I am pretty stinking good at fitting my van into the tiniest of spaces.

The children have been attending a summer session of their preschool on Tuesday and Thursdays, giving mommy and daddy much needed time to unpack.  They love it!

Today I go to the DC-DMV to officially get a new DC license and plates.   Taxation without representation…. nice, huh?   Now we can drive like crazy other DC drivers and have the excuse
I’m  a local”

We have a long list of things we want to do in DC as a family and activities for the kids.  The list is endless.  We are in the Nation’s Playground Capital, and there is an abundance of options.  We were just saying the other day that we will never have a lazy morning of not knowing what to do… rather the question will be “what should we do next?”

So what do you want to know about life in DC?
Any monuments or museums you would like featured?
Any questions on visiting our Nation’s Capital with Kiddos?
I am here to offer my all the expertise of someone who has lived here a whole month!   HA!

Stay tuned for some of our recent adventures in the Big City!
